Combine blueberries, strawberries and water in a jar with a lid. Place in the refrigerator and allow to infuse for 2 to 12 hours.

Patriotic Protein Smoothie

A perfectly patriotic, protein-packed smoothie to start your celebrations off on a fresh note. This recipe features pharmaceutical-grade collagen-based protein using ProGlow Strong + Youthful.

INGREDIENTS
Red Layer

1 cup frozen strawberries

½ cup almond or coconut milk
-
½ teaspoon honey (optional)
White Layer
-
1 banana, previously sliced and frozen
-
¼ cup vanilla Greek yogurt
-
¼ cup slivered almonds
-
1 serving ProGlow Strong + Youthful
-
2 tablespoons almond or coconut milk
Blue Layer
-
1 cup frozen blueberries
-
½ cup almond or coconut milk
DIRECTIONS

Blend together the frozen strawberries and almond or coconut milk for the red layer. Taste and add a bit of honey, if desired. Transfer the completed smoothie layer to a glass and put the glass in the refrigerator. Rinse out the blender completely.

Blend the ingredients of the white layer until smooth with a milkshake consistency. Pour the white layer into a separate glass and place in the refrigerator. Rinse out the blender completely.

Blend the blue layer ingredients. Once blended, evenly portion the blue smoothie into two serving glasses.

Gently and slowly pour the white smoothie into each glass on top of the blue layer. Repeat this process with the red layer next.

Garnish with coconut flakes and fresh berries, if desired. Enjoy!
